Randall Satin's career has been focused on updating consumer products with technology
In 2008 Satin traveled throughout Asia to advance LED lighting products. His goal was to develop new bulbs that used 90% less energy and lasted 10x longer. The original LED bulbs that Satin imported became the standard for utility companies who promoted them with rebates to offset the high price. Satin developed premium LED bulbs despite great skepticism amongst peers who did not believe consumers would understand the benefits and savings. 70% of all bulbs sold in 2020 were LED.
Satin’s creative nature helped produce the award-winning lighting system currently at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. 36,000 watts of incandescent light were replaced with less than 2,000 custom-designed LED lights.
An innovator in hybrid-digital tours
While Satin worked on the lighting at St. Patrick’s he saw the outdated equipment being used for tours of the Cathedral. He believed that the tour needed to be a great entertainment product that could be sold online and through traditional retail. Satin developed a combination digital-physical product and the app TourPatron. This app is now the exclusive tour option at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and their five million annual guests. The 5-star rated tour app has been downloaded more than 100,000 times. Satin's tour has been produced in five languages is under a ten-year contract. The Official Tour is represented by every major travel site and pass company.
An innovator in eco-friendly cleaning, disinfecting, and healthcare solutions
In response to covid and while looking for UV Products sanitize clothing at the request of retail clients, Satin went back to his partners in Asia. The same companies that developed the early LED bulbs were now part of a group that included AVIAIR. AVIAIR is a product that uses electricity to restructure table salt in water to create a safe household cleaner that eliminates odors and kills germs, including COVID-19. Once again seeing a better path through technology, Satin approached Morton Salt on disrupting the household cleaning products market. Morton Salt agreed with AVIAIR’s Science and licensed the Morton Salt name and use of The Umbrella Girl to Salt Science Inc.
For over 40 years, Michael has pioneered leading-edge products and programs. In the early 1990s, Michael developed the first interactive self-service kiosks for airlines and financial institutions. This included product design, manufacturing, user experience, networking, and early versions of internet technology. For the last 20 years, Michael has been at the forefront of the U.S. Green Building and sustainability movement, working as a consultant with major international facility maintenance companies. helped design green cleaning programs for some of the world's most prestigious brands, including JP Morgan Chase, American Express, Morgan Stanley, and others. Michael’s expertise in self-service technology combined with his knowledge and understanding of cleaning business best practices assists Salt Science in mainstreaming next-generation non-toxic cleaning products.
Krishna Israni, born in Mumbai, India, spent most of his childhood between his hometown and Nigeria, Africa. Krishna completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona prior to kickstarting his medical pursuit by attending and completing his Medical Degree at Saba University of Medicine in the Caribbean. Krishna then secured and completed his Medical Residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He now lives in New York City with his wife and son and is a General Medicine Physician
at City MD Urgent Care. Krishna keeps himself busy and active with several local/international philanthropic and entrepreneurial investments.
